Today we observed hazy conditions that dropped visibility from 40 to 25 miles between the 7 A.M. and 1 P.M. observations. Wind was southerly, with an average speed of 10 mph and a max gust of 17 mph. Pressure is on a steady decline, decreasing about 3 millibars over the course of 6 hours. Cloud cover has filled in since this morning, with some rain starting to fall around noontime. With 0.02 inches falling overnight, there is only a trace in the gauge as of yet. We continue to return to the nearly 4 inch precipiation deficiency from last week - sitting at 3.97 inches at the moment.   The high so far today is 82 degrees, this is 4 degrees above the daily normal high of 78F.
