BLUE HILL METEOROLOGICAL OBSERVATORY MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA   DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY SUNDAY, MARCH 29, 2015     ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME CLEARING SKIES AFTER A DAY OF SNOW THAT PUSHED THE SEASONAL RECORD EVEN HIGHER   Yesterday's snowfall of 5.0 inches gives Blue Hill Observatory its first new daily record for the month of March.  The previous daily record snowfall for March 28th was 3.0 inches set back in 1932.  The new record for most snow in a season now stands at 150.8 inches of snow.  Skies were quickly clearing at the 7 AM observation and no clouds were visible at the 10 AM observation.    Clear skies and the strong sun have not warmed things up much as temperatures have remained cold and did not go above freezing until after the 10 AM observation, though they are beginning to warm up this afternoon. The air has remained very dry all day with very light winds.    For more information about this historic winter, visit our web site at bluehill.org.    BHO Greatest Seasonal Snowfall, inches (1885-2015):   1) 150.8 in 2014-2015 (through 1 PM March 29th) 2) 144.4 in 1995-1996 3) 136.0 in 1947-1948 4) 119.4 in 2004-2005 5) 113.1 in 2002-2003 6) 111.5 in 1915-1916 7) 109.6 in 1966-1967 8) 106.8 in 1955-1956 9) 103.4 in 1903-1904 10)102.5 in 1922-1923     Today's Observations:   7 A.M.
