A daytime maximum of 15F was recorded before the 1:00 PM EST observation, which fell way below the normal daily maximum of 34F.  Snow showers, which began at the station at 11:13 AM EST and ended by 4:50 PM EST, dropped 0.4 inches of new snow,  mostly falling before the 1:00 PM EST observation,  with a total liquid equivalent of 0.02 inches.  Snow now totals 2.9 inches for the month so far, and 13.9 inches for the season, now 7.4 inches below then norm. Today, temperatures have risen from an overnight low of 10F, to the lower 20s by the 1:00 PM EST observation.
