The downpours last evening was the leftover rain from
heavy thunderstorm activity moving eastward from western
and central Massachusetts.  Heavy rain also accompanied
the thunderstorms which moved eastward from Connecticut
and Rhode Island and passed to our south.
 
The storm total rainfall associated with the remnants of Andrea from
Thursday through Saturday (6/6-6/8) has been reviewed and stands at
4.09 inches.  Appropriate corrections have been made to the
precipitation table below.

Weather: Scattered stratus fractus, broken stratocumulus, broken altocumulus,
overcast altocumulus, break in overcast NE, break in overcast with line of
clearing along horizon distant S-SW, few stratus fractus drifting below summit,
stratus and fog dissipating past hour, light rain shower began 6:20 A.M. and
ended 6:40 A.M. precipitation very light
