The rainfall total from this latest event reached 1.39 inches, brining the 5-day total up to 5.45 inches. And, there is more rain in the forecast. June 2013 is looking to be a very wet month. The summit was shrouded in dense fog this morning, reducing visibility to 1/16 of a mile. The fog held on until late morning, but began dissipating as the temperature warmed into the lower 60s and the wind direction gradually backed (counterclockwise) from the E to the W. With wind speeds quite low today, there has been little change in the air mass despite the wind direction shift. The storm total rainfall associated with the remnants of Andrea from Thursday through Saturday (6/6-6/8) has been reviewed and stands at 4.09 inches.
