BLUE HILL METEOROLOGICAL OBSERVATORY MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA   DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY SUNDAY, JULY 28, 2013 ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME   MOSTLY CLOUDY WITH MORNING FOG AND DRIZZLE   It was a third consecutive foggy morning on the summit today, with the visibility reduced to 1/16 of a mile at times.  It took longer for the fog to lift this morning, as visibility did not increase much until mid-late morning.  The sky has been mostly cloudy for the rest of the day with occasional breaks of sunshine, especially early this afternoon.  Light rain and drizzle last night and early this morning left only 0.03 inches of rain, and our monthly total is now just under three inches.   The temperature has climbed slowly today due to the limited sunshine, rising to 77F by early afternoon.  Despite the past three days being below average, the month continues to run well above average by about 4 degrees per day. The dew point has also been high, climbing to 70F by afternoon.  The wind has been very light for most of the morning into early afternoon, averaging only about 5mph out of the N-E with no gusts over 15 mph so far.   BHO Greatest Number of 90-Degree Days per Month, (1885-2013) 1) 14 in July 1952 2) 13 in August 2002 3) 10 in August 1944    10 in July 1949    10 in July 1963    10 in July 2010    10 in July 2013 (through 7/27) 8)  9 in July 1911     9 in August 1928 10) 8 in August 1949     8 in July 1963     8 in July 1988   Today's Observations:   7 A.M.
