A peak wind gust of 125 mph from the SE was measured on the summit. The sea level pressure bottomed out at 973.2 mb (28.741 inches), and 2.46 inches of rain was recorded. The windows and the building itself were noted to have been "plastered with leaves" after the storm. On the contrary, today's weather is not so exciting. Grey skies persisted throughout the day with early morning fog fading only slightly. 0.05 inch of rain fell early this morning, and pockets of drizzle grazed the summit in the early afternoon with a possibility of scattered thunderstorms still lingering for later on today. Total rainfall after 7:00 EST only amounted to a trace. Winds have been light out of the SW. Today's Observations: 7 A.M.
