BLUE HILL METEOROLOGICAL OBSERVATORY MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA   DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY TUESDAY, APRIL 30, 2013 ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME   CLEAR, DRY, WARM APRIL TO FINISH SLIGHTLY ABOVE NORMAL   Our nice spring weather continues as temperatures have reached the low 60s before noontime. Dew points are incredibly low as well, hovering in the upper teens and low 20s today. Clear skies prevail, which is giving many areas a nice warm up, and an excellent hiking day considering how dry it is. Winds have been light and variable for most of the day as a slow moving area of high pressure sits over the Northeast. Visibility has been around 60 miles today with some light distant haze present. There have also been a nice display of high clouds passing over the Observatory today.   The average monthly temperature will finish about a degree above average. Our precipitation deficit will finish below two inches, and drier than normal for April. This will also be the second consecutive April with no measurable snowfall, the first time this has happened since April 1994 and April 1995.   Today's observations:   7 A.M.
