BLUE HILL METEOROLOGICAL OBSERVATORY MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA   DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY SATURDAY, APRIL 27, 2013 ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME   ANOTHER CALM, BEAUTIFUL DAY   Mostly clear skies have prevailed again today at the summit as the weather continues to stay calm thanks to a strong high pressure system over New England. Temperatures have risen to a high of 61F by early this afternoon. Skies were predominantly clear this morning, before cumulus and cirrostratus clouds arrived from late morning through the afternoon. Winds have been very light to even calm at times, with a variable direction. Visibility has been limited a bit by haze, especially early this morning, and has been mostly around 55 miles since mid-morning.   The average monthly temperature continues to remain about a degree above normal, and is expected to remain this way through the end of the month. Our precipitation deficit for the month is climbing closer to two inches, and with no precipitation expected for the rest of the month this should finish as a drier than normal April. In addition, this month will likely be the second April in a row with no measurable snowfall, the first time this has happened since April 1994 and April 1995   Today's observations:   7 A.M.
