BLUE HILL METEOROLOGICAL OBSERVATORY MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS 02186 ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA   DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2009  ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME   WEEKEND RAINFALL EVENT LEAVES 2.29 INCHES HERE BUT OVER 4 INCHES TO OUR EAST AND SOUTHEAST AS DRY SPELL SINCE AUGUST 29TH COMES TO AN END   The heavy rainfall event which began last Friday afternoon, 11 September and ended during the early hours of Sunday, 13 September left 2.29 inches of rainfall here at Blue Hill.
