BLUE HILL METEOROLOGICAL OBSERVATORY MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS 02186 ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA   DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 2009 VETERANS DAY   ALL DATA IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME   A LITTLE SUNSHINE EARLY TODAY BUT THEN CLOUDY WITH COLD, GUSTY NNE WINDS FOR THIS VETERANS DAY HOLIDAY   A little over an hour and a half's worth of bright sunshine early today was followed by overcast conditions with a layer of middle or altocumulus clouds.  A scattering of stratocumulus clouds was forming in the lower layer of the atmosphere.  Visibility was excellent up to 75 miles today but with no sunshine and a gusty north-northeast wind gusting up to 25 to 30 MPH the temperature had dropped back from a high of 50F just after 9 a.m.to 46F by 1 p.m.    Today's observations:   7 A.M.
