June rainfall is approaching one inch below normal and the year's departure has now dropped to more than 4 inches below normal.    A half inch or more of rainfall occurred late last week to our south over the southern half of Bristol and Plymouth counties. Rainfall totals of of 0.53 inch at Taunton, 0.45 inch at Plymouth, 0.53 at Providence and and 0.83 inch at New Bedford were recorded for the 24 hours ending at 8 A.M.
