SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS YESTERDAY AND
AGAIN TODAY BRING ALMOST AN INCH OF RAINFALL
 
Yesterday's rain and a thunderstorm brought three-
quarters of an inch of rainfall and today's total
has reached almost a quarter inch.  A total of
0.95 inch has been recorded by early afternoon.
Temperatures are again very cool for early
July with highs in mid-60's through early this
afternoon, and the month is averaging close to
six degrees cooler than normal during the
first week of the month.
