We have not recorded an 80-degree or higher maximum temperature since 80F on 24 May after two days with just 79F during our very cool June.    Today's observations:   7 A.M.   Weather: Clear with a few altocumulus lenticularis to the distant west and northwest and few cirrus distant south and distant north-northwest-north Temperature: 68F, Dew point: 53F, Wind: ESE at 5 kts Sea-level pressure: 29.80 inches Hg, falling slightly Visibility: 50 miles, 35 miles north thru east 6-hour minimum temp: 60F 24-hour rainfall: 0 BHO SA 1155 CLR 50 090/68/53/1205/980/ FEW ACSL DSNT W AND NW FEW CI DSNT S AND  DSNT NNW-N THN K ALG HRZN NNW-NNE VSBY N-E 35/ 8/041 58001 10068 20060   10 A.M.   Weather: Scattered cumulus, moderate cumulus, altocumulus  Temperature: 75F, Dew point: 54F, Wind: W at 3 kts Sea-level pressure: 29.80 inches Hg, falling Visibility: 55 miles, 40 miles northeast thru southeast BHO SA 1455 40 SCT 110 SCT 55 090/75/54/2603/980/ CU/MDT CU FRMG ALQDS PTCHS AC/ACSL DSNT NW-NE VSBY NE-SE 40 LGT HZ WND LGT/ 8/240 50000   1 P.M.   Weather: Broken cumulus, moderate cumulus   Temperature: 77F, Dew point: 50F, Wind: WNW at 4 kts, Wind: light and variable Sea-level pressure: 29.77 inches Hg, falling Visibility: 60 miles, 70 miles northwest 6-hourly max. temp. 79F BHO SA 1755 E55 BKN 60 080/77/50/2904/977/ MDT CU ALQDS VSBY NW 70 WND LGT AND VRB/ 8/200 56010 10079 20068    WEATHER SUMMARY FOR SUNDAY, JULY 5   TEMPERATURE (DEGREES F) MAX.....78    NORMAL.....80 MIN.....54    NORMAL.....61 MEAN....66    NORMAL.....71   DEPARTURE FROM 30-YEAR NORMAL...........-5 TOTAL DEPARTURE FOR THE MONTH..........-29  [-6.0 DEGREES/DAY]   HEATING DEGREE DAYS TOTAL HEATING UNITS FOR YESTERDAY.............0  DEPARTURE.......-1 TOTAL HEATING UNITS FOR THE MONTH.............9  DEPARTURE.......+4 TOTAL HEATING UNITS FOR THE SEASON............9  DEPARTURE.......+4 TOTAL HEATING UNITS LAST SEASON TO DATE.......0  DIFFERENCE......+9   PEAK GUST AND AVERAGE WIND SPEED (MPH) PEAK WIND GUST FOR YESTERDAY.............33 W   AT 10:59 A.M. *                      AEROVANE..............31 W   AT 11:26 A.M. *                        ASOS..................32 W   AT 10:23 A.M.                        DAVIS.................34 W   AT 10:17 A.M.   FASTEST MILE FOR YESTERDAY...............24 W   AT 10:54 A.M. *  MAXIMUM 2-MINUTE ASOS AVERAGE............23 W   AT 11:14 A.M.        MAXIMUM 2-MINUTE DAVIS AVERAGE...........24 W   AT 10:55 A.M.      AVERAGE WIND SPEED AND DIRECTION.......13.6 W                     ASOS................13.0                    DAVIS...............13.0 W [ 260 DEG] * last of several occurrences...   PRECIPITATION (INCHES) THROUGH THIS MORNING (EST) TOTAL PRECIPITATION 24 HRS ENDING 7 A.M....0.00  DEPARTURE....-0.12                          ASOS..............0.00 TOTAL PRECIPITATION FOR  JULY..............1.54  DEPARTURE....+0.92                          ASOS..............1.56  TOTAL PRECIPITATION FOR THE YEAR..........25.18  DEPARTURE....-1.11                          ASOS.............26.21   PRELIMINARY CLIMATE SUMMARY FOR JULY 2009 CALENDAR DAY DATA DATA REPORTED: DATE: MAX/MIN/MEAN/DEP/PRECIP/SUN(MIN.)/SUN(%)/ PEAK GUST/AERO GUST AERO: Aerovane wind recording system gust when significant TSTM: Thunderstorm day (thunder heard some time during day) ....: Data not yet available, records not finalized   7/1  62/57/60/-10/.../000/00    25 NNE   TSTM 7/2  66/56/61/-9/.../000/00     29 SSW   AERO 25 MPH SSW TSTM 7/3  75/58/67/-3/T/.../..       23 WSW 7/4  77/59/68/-2/0/.../..       43 W       7/5  78/54/66/-5/0/.../..       33 W        7/6  our morning low temp: 60F,  the normal low is now 61F/   NEW DAILY RECORDS FOR JULY 2009 TO DATE...
