High temp- eratures have been in the cooler 70's the past two days. Many leaves are turning yellow and falling from the trees here on the Blue Hill and throughout the area due to the continued very dry weather. August, with just 0.63 inch of rain, was our second driest on record. The rainfall deficit for the past three months is close to 5 inches.
