BLUE HILL METEOROLOGICAL OBSERVATORY MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS 02186 ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA   DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY MONDAY, OCTOBER 22, 2007 ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME   SUNNY AND VERY WARM OCTOBER WEATHER CONTINUES TODAY...   Very sunny and warm conditions are occurring today with temperatures approaching the 80-degree mark. However, today's record of 85 degrees in 1979, will not be reached. The double-digit departures of the past five days, including today, will push the monthly average temperature up to 7 degrees warmer than normal.   Despite the 0.79 inch of rain late Friday and early last Saturday, we still need a lot more rain to bring the month up to normal. Presently we're running close to one inch drier than normal.   Today's observations:   7 A.M.   Weather: Clear, cirrus north thru east thru south-southwest Temperature: 59F, Dew point: 46F, Wind: SSW at 13 kts Sea-level pressure: 30.20 inches Hg, steady Visibility: 60 miles, NW 70 miles 6-hour min temp: 58F 24-hour precipitation:  BHO SA 1155 CLR 60 228/59/46/2013/020/ CI DSNT N-NE CI/PTCHS DENSE CI ENE-SE-SW FEW PTCHS DENSE SHLW GF DSSPTNG PST HR SW-W LGT HZ/K ALG HRZNS VSBY NW 70/ 8/002 51006 10060 20058    10 A.M.   Weather: Clear few distant cirrus ESE-S-WSW Temperature: 70F, Dew point: 49F, Wind: SSW at 10 kts Sea-level pressure: 30.19 inches Hg, falling Visibility: 55 miles, light haze and smoke on horizons S-W-N-E   BHO SA 1455 CLR 55 224/70/49/2110/019/ FEW CI/DENSE CI DSNT ESE-S-WSW LGT HK ALG HRZN S-W-N-E/ 8/002 58004   1 P.M.
