COLDEST FEELING MORNING OF THE SEASON...
AND TIED RECORD LOW FOR THIS DATE AT 3 DEGREES..
 
Our windchill temperature dropped to 23 to 24 below zero 
as the low temperature reached 2.8 degrees (3 deg) shortly
before 8 a.m. this morning. Winds were averaging 30 and 
gusting to 45 MPH.   
 
Wind gusts of 71 to 74 MPH.... 
recorded on Maximum, Inc. instruments around noon but 
the official gust for the manual record was 58 MPH mph W
at 12:43 p.m.  The high temperature has only reached 11 
degrees early this afternoon.  The high temperature for
today is a record setting low maximum of 19 degrees at midnight.
