NEW RECORD HIGH MINIMUM TEMPERATURE ON THURSDAY...   The record high minimum temperature for June 28 was broken yesterday at 71 degrees; this surpasses the previous record of 69 set in 1901, 1991, 1999, and 2005.   Much lower dew points in the lower 50s led to more comfortable conditions throughout the day on Friday. Temperatures dropped back below normal, including an early afternoon high of only 70 degrees.
