BLUE HILL METEOROLOGICAL OBSERVATORY MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS 02186 ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA   DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY MONDAY, JULY 23, 2007   ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME   VERY COOL AND DAMP TODAY AFTER PLEASANT COOL DRY WEEKEND TODAY'S TEMPERATURES RUNNING MUCH COOLER THAN NORMAL ONLY A VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF PRECIPITATION    Low overcast, very cool and damp conditions today include include northeast winds gusting to near 30 MPH.  The weather today is a complete turn around from the pleasantly mostly sunny and cool dry weather over the weekend. In fact the highest temperature through early afternoon of 63 degrees is but one degree above our record low maximum for any July 23rd of 62 degrees recorded in 1904.   The weekend temperatures continued the near normal to slightly cooler than normal trend of July by averaging 3 degrees below normal. Since July 3rd, however, temperatures actually have averaged slightly above normal but by only 0.7 degree.
