AVERAGE 9 DEG. BELOW NORMAL ON 1ST SNOW FLURRIES ON MOUNT WASHINGTON LOW TEMPS. IN LOW TO MID-40S S.E. MA JULY 2ND   After June 2007 ended up just a fraction of a degree warmer than normal, July arrived with a real chill in the air.  Our high temperature struggled to reach 70 degrees yesterday. Dewpoints in the 40's and somewhat gusty winds made it seem like September especially when big cumulus clouds blocked out the sun many times during the day. Hikers on Mount Washington saw snow flurries at the summit around noon with thermometer readings close to the freezing point.   Early this morning, July 2nd, our low reading of 50 degrees was 3 degrees above the record low for the date.  However, surrounding lower elevations such as Norwood and Taunton Airports, reported min- imum temperature readings in the low to midddle 40's.   Today's observations:   7 A.M.   Weather: Clear, few distant clouds WNW-E Temperature: 57F, Dew point: 47F, Wind: WNW at 11G20 kts Sea-level pressure: 30.11 inches Hg, rising Visibility: 90 miles 6-hour min temp. 50F    6-hour precip: 0.00 24-hour precip: 0.00 BHO SA 1155 CLR 90 195/57/47/3011G20/011/ FEW CU FRMG ALG HRZN DSNT WNW-NNW FEW AC DSNT NE-ENE FEW CI DSNT N-E/ 8/141 51007 10057 20050   10 A.M.
