SNOWFALL OF 1.5 INS OVERNIGHT AND THIS MORNING TIES WITH 2003 FOR OUR 4TH GREATEST DECEMBER SNOWFALL Light snow which began last evening changed to rain by late evening and then rain changed back to sleet, light freezing rain and finally snow in the pre-dawn hours. A total of 1.3 inches was measured on our snow boards at 7 a.m. and the additional amount was 0.2 inch from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Our monthly snowfall total is now 29.7 inches making this December tied with December 2003 for 4th snowiest December on record.
