EARLY DECEMBER COLD CONTINUES
 
Temperatures are averaging more than 10 degrees colder than 
average for the month to date.  The below freezing weather 
has been great for snow-making at the local ski area and the
1 to 2 inches of snow from the recent storm event is not 
melting.  These conditions are normal for January not the 
first days of December. High clouds are increasing and 
thickening today on the outskirts of a low pressure system 
expected to pass into the Atlantic Ocean to our south. A 
little snow may occur on the northern fringe of this system.  
Light snow had reached New York City early this afternoon.
