WEEK-END SHOWERS LEAVE ONLY 0.07 INCH OF RAINFALL... TEMPERATURES FINALLY TAKE A TURN ABOVE NORMAL... MOST HUMID DAY OF SEASON TO DATE...DEWPOINT REACHED 70 DEGREES SUNDAY Light showers Saturday evening and early Sunday morning netted just 0.07 inch of rain here and some light showers ahead of the cold front which passed Monday morning brought just a trace of rain occurring in two of the early morning hours. Yesterday was only one degree warmer than normal for the date and was the 4th consecutive day to average warmer than normal. But that's not saying much because each of those days was only a few degrees on the plus side. This has been the only time all month that we've been able to put together more than two days in the warmer-than-normal range. This continues to be a cool June with the total departure now standing at minus 77 degrees so the month is still running some 3.5 degrees cooler than normal. The dewpoint reached the upper 60's and even 70 degrees for the first time this season on Sunday but much drier air returned this morning dropping the dewpoint into the upper 40's.
