The smoke from the Canadian fires moved away to the east by mid-morning and a beautiful sky with a mixture of different levels of mostly thin cirrus is visible after that day yesterday of total overcast with smoke laters. It's so good to be able to see the sky again but along with the bright sunshine has come a return to very warm temperatures. The maximum temperature had reached 89 degrees by 2 p.m. and was still climbing slowly. The air is only moderately humid with the dewpoint in the mid-60's. A nice WSW to W breeze was gusting to about 23 MPH. Visibility which had decrease to 2.5 to 3 miles in smoke late Sunday afternoon had increased to 20 miles with just some light haze and smoke early this afternoon.
