NOVEMBER AVERAGE TEMPERATURE JUST SLIGHTLY OVER NORMAL NOW... Five days of colder-than-normal weather has reduced the departure of + 5 degrees through the first week of the month down to just 0.4 degree above normal through thirteen days. Now, here comes the mild temperatures again so it looks like once again November will surge well above normal for a second time. LONG DRY SPELL CONTINUES................... ONLY 46% OF NORMAL RAINFALL MID-AUGUST THRU MID-NOVEMBER..... Still no indication when we'll get significant rainfall..... A total of just 5.41 inches of rain has fallen during the past three months. Normal for this period is over 11 and one half inches so only 46% of normal precipitation. THIS YEAR'S SURPLUS NOW ALMOST GONE....
