After an extremely dry May to date (just 0.26 inch) for the first three weeks of the month and combined with a dry April for one of our driest April through the first three weeks of May on record, some decent rainfall has finally occurred, and should continue to do so for the next couple of days. Through 8 AM this morning 0.22" inches of rainfall had fallen with an addition 0.20" falling through 11 AM for a total of 0.42". Steady light rain has been falling since the wee hours of the morning.
