DAILY DISCUSSION....10 A.M. 3/22/2001 BIG STORM DROPS OVER 3 INCHES OF RAIN AND STILL COUNTING... 2.58 inches of rainfall was measured as of 7am this morning with an additional 0.52" falling between 7am and 10am bringing the total through 10am to 3.10". Rain began sometime between 6-7pm last evening and has continued heavy at times since. The snow cover on the summit has been reduced to only 1 inch which is an average of bare ground and patches of 2-3" snow cover. Peak winds so far for this storm are as follows..
