THUNDERSTORMS FRIDAY EVENING DROP LOCALLY TORRENTIAL RAIN.... The rainfall total at BHO last night was 0.34", which fell during a thunderstorm between 9 and 10 PM. The peak wind gust for the day was 39 mph W at 9:17 pm during the thunderstorm. Other rain totals from Friday evening include 1.25" in Milton (about 3.5 miles from the observatory), 0.89" in Dedham, 0.60" in Needham, and 1.05" in Hopkinton.
