ASOS came in at 51 MPH W. Rainfall recorded for the standard gage for Friday' was 0.46 inch. The rain that began early Sunday morning, August 12, at 4:40 A.M. amounted to 0.34 by 8 A.M. and then another 1.15 inches by 8 a.m. early this Monday morning. So, we have a total of 1.95 inches now for the week-end.... and 3.38 inches for the month. (above normal by + 1.93 INS. ) Yesterday cool maximum temperature of only 65 degrees was not close to the record low maximum for the date which is 58 degrees in 1979. The month has a temperature departure of plus 65 degrees and is averaging 5 degrees warmer than normal daily to date....
