Another round of light showers overnight bring just 0.07 inch rainfall. The three rain events so far this month have added up to less than one inch of precipitation and that's now a half inch drier than normal for April to date. The high temperature reached 68 degrees just after 4 o'clock on Monday afternoon after the seabreeze took effect here and by 5 o'clock the official thermometer had dropped to 63 degrees and was dropping sharply. Then by 6 p.m. it was down to 58 degrees. This was the first day of 60-degree temps. this year to date.... This might be some sort of record.
