First grade to adult learner...never to young nor old for a tagged balloon Launch or other fun and educational activity on Great Blue Hill.
Looking for something to do over April Vacation? How about bringing your scout group, birthday party, neighborhood or church group to Blue Hill Observatory. The weather will be perfect for a leisurely hike up Great Blue and we have lots of interesting programs to experience. Here are a few programs that you might want to try:
Tagged Balloon Launch

Weather Watching at Great Blue Hill.
Tour the Observatory using a study guide and learn about weather instruments and how observers record and analyze the weather.
Design, build and fly your own kite! Travel with a guide through the history of kites and their use at the Observatory.
Choose from a variety of options including athletic focus, history focus, or nature focus. Learn about geology, botany, animal habitats and more.
It's not too late to book a program for the April Vacation Week. Please give Program Director Don McCasland a call at 617-696-0562 or email firstname.lastname@example.org .
In addition to that week a few other days are available for school groups, but these are filling up fast. Many more times for after school and weekends are available. We are also booking for summer through December 2014.
Don't miss out! It's a fun educational activity for all ages
