Great Blue Hill WOOF WALK, Saturday, November 3, 2012

  woof walk mascot

We invite you and your favorite pooch to join us on Saturday, November 3rd, 2012 for our first "Woof Walk" up Great Blue Hill. This event is a tribute to "Alp", the St. Bernard, who was the first mascot of Blue Hill Observatory and a true weather dog.

Put on your walking shoes and grab your pets and leashes and follow "Alp" for a leisurely one-mile walk up the Observatory

Service Road to the top of Great Blue Hill. Help raise funds to support Blue Hill Observatory, the oldest, continuously operating weather station in the nation, a national historic landmark, and premier site for weather education.

Bring a picnic, tour the Observatory and enjoy special programs designed for the whole family.
