We had a sunny, clear, dry day with comfortable  temperatures and humidity. The high temperature so far today is 76F, which is 5 degrees below the daily normal of 81F.  We had low humidity and dew points in the low 50's for most of the day. The dry air made for excellent visibility at 80 miles in the morning and 70 miles at 1:00 P.M. The wind was coming from the NE and was  fairly light today.  Even with cooler temperatures yesterday July is still  running just over 4 degrees above normal. We had only had two days of precipitation both caused by overnight thunderstorms with heavy rain making the precipitation  total just above normal so far this month.   Today's Observations: 7 A.M.
