We had high pressure again making for another nice day at Blue Hill Observatory. The pressure began to  drop mid-morning and the wind from the SW became  stronger than the light wind from yesterday with a gust up to 21 MPH. The high temperature so far  today has been a slightly above normal 86F degrees.  This is 5 degrees above the daily normal of 81F.  Visibility was excellent at 80 miles all day with a thin smoke layer along the horizon during the morning observations. We had nice dry air and low  humidity today with dew points in the high 50's.  So far July has been a warm dry month with only one  day of precipitation and temperatures 5.6 degrees above normal.   Today's Observations: 7 A.M.
