OFFSHORE FLOW REDUCES TEMPS TODAY- RAIN BECOMING LIGHT
ICE PELLETS BY MID DAY 

Following yesterday's daytime maximum temperature of 62F and 
daily average of 55F, temperatures continue to average well above
normal for the month of March. Temperatures now average a remarkable
8.2 degrees above normal through the first 13 days of March.

Overnight winds shifted to the E with cold ocean air bringing
temperatures steadily down through this morning. An overnight low
of 38F was observed this morning with temperatures barely rising
from that point.

By 11:58 AM EST this morning both light rain and ice pellets 
began mixed together. Light rain eventually ended, leaving 
ice pellets to fall more steadily by the 1:00 PM EST observation.
Temperatures were able to rise to a morning maximum of 40F before
falling this afternoon to 38F.
