HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT WITH TEMPS IN LOW 90s AND DEW POINTS IN MID 70s

Steady rain and drizzle left us with 0.28 in. of precipitation yesterday, 
which was 0.15 in. above the daily normal.  The monthly precip. deficit
is just a little over an inch, and the deficit for the year has decreased
to 8.83 in.

Temperatures soared to a max of 92F by 1:00PM EST but continued to bounce 
around as scattered cumulus formed over the region as the afternoon continued.
The air was extremely muggy due to dew points in the mid 70s.  With heat
indices potentially reaching 106F, a heat advisory was put into effect through
the evening.
