Temperatures soared to a max of 92F by 1:00PM EST but continued to bounce  around as scattered cumulus formed over the region as the afternoon continued. The air was extremely muggy due to dew points in the mid 70s.  With heat indices potentially reaching 106F, a heat advisory was put into effect through the evening.
