BLUE HILL METEOROLOGICAL OBSERVATORY  MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY THURSDAY, MARCH 26, 2015      ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME   RAIN SHOWERS MOVE THROUGH OVERNIGHT, WARMTH AND FOG BEGIN TO EAT AWAY AT SNOWPACK Rain which began after fall moderately after 7:00 PM EST did not last for long, totaling 0.08 inches by midnight. Dense fog began around at the same time as well, limiting visibility to 1/16 of a mile, which kept temperatures steadily climbing through the early morning hours. The snowpack was down to 13 inches at the 7:00 AM EST observation and will likely take quite a hit with increased chances for rainfall this afternoon and continued fog and warmth. By the 1:00 PM EST observation visibility was poor at just 10 miles, with thin fog and overcast stratus. A maximum of 53F had been reached so far.
