Today's normal maximum is 47F and minimum 30F. This morning's overnight low of 25F did not last for long, as the mercury jumped 6 degrees during sunrise. Winds have remained light and even completely calm at times. By the 1:00 PM EST observation cirrus had overspread the region, with light distant haze in all directions. With the thin cloud cover, snow melt has continued through this morning into early afternoon, as temperatures have climbed to a maximum of 48F so far.
