BLUE HILL METEOROLOGICAL OBSERVATORY  MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY MONDAY, MARCH 23, 2015      ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME   CLEAR, COLD AND WINDY, MERCURY DROPS TO 14F THIS MORNING   Skies were clear once again this morning, with chilly conditions, especially with ambient air temperatures in the mid teens and wind chills near zero. Visibility was good this morning as well, with views into southwest New Hampshire, approximately 70 miles or so. Winds that gusted to 50 MPH yesterday have eased somewhat,  remaining the 15-20 knot range this morning.  By the 1:00 PM EST observation winds were still steady between W and WNW. Temperatures had climbed somewhat, but only reached a maximum of 29F, some 17 degrees below today's daily normal maximum. Visibility remained at 70 miles under completely cloudless conditions.
