BLUE HILL METEOROLOGICAL OBSERVATORY MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA   DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY SATURDAY, JANUARY 10, 2015    ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME   ANOTHER COLD DAY TODAY AFTER LIGHT SNOW YESTERDAY   Another shot of cold air moved into New England yesterday, though this air mass is not nearly as cold as the one we saw just a couple days ago.  The colder air was preceded by some light to moderate snow yesterday morning, which brought 0.9 inches of snow to the summit, taking our monthly total up to 4.1 inches.  The melted precipitation for this snowfall was 0.08 inches.  After a high of 27F yesterday, the temperature bottomed out at 11F this morning, and had climbed only to 22F by the 1:00 P.M. observation.   A large area of high pressure has kept our skies mainly clear today, with just a few distant clouds at times.  The air is quite dry, with the dew point only a few degrees above zero this afternoon.  The wind today has been steady at about 10-15 mph from the west, with a few gusts up to 25mph, creating a little bit of a wind chill factor.   Today's Observations:   7 A.M.
