BLUE HILL METEOROLOGICAL OBSERVATORY  MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2015    ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME SEVERAL SNOW RECORDS FALL AS SUN FINALLY RETURNS 5.1 inches of new snow that fell from 1:00 PM yesterday afternoon through 7:00 AM this morning added to make a storm total of 27.7 inches of snow and a liquid equivalent of 2.57 inches. This storm, which dumped snow relentlessly from Saturday through early Tuesday morning, now becomes the 7th greatest snowstorm ever, and 3rd greatest February snowstorm in our 130 year history.
