ANOTHER COOLER THAN NORMAL AND DRY DAY TODAY
CONTINUED HIGH VISIBILITY AND NORTHEAST WINDS
 
The morning low temperature once again fell below 60F today, with 58F being
the reading.  Temperatures have warmed more today than in the previous two
days, with a high so far of 76F, but this will likely be our twelfth straight
day of below normal temperatures.  The air has been very dry again today, with
the dew point holding in the low-mid 50s.  Visibility has been good by August
standards again as well, holding at about 70 miles for much of the day.  We
are also seeing another day of easterly and northeasterly winds, although they
are lighter today than they were yesterday.  Today will be another day
without measurable precipitation, as our monthly and yearly deficits
continue to grow.  Our yearly deficit is now over three inches.
