BLUE HILL METEOROLOGICAL OBSERVATORY MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA   DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY WEDNESDAY, JUNE 26, 2013 ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME   WARM, HAZY, AND HUMID WITH SHOWERS DEVELOPING   Today has been another warm day, though not as hot as the previous 3, with a maximum temperature recorded so far of 83F, and a high dew point making it feel warmer than that.  The morning began with very hazy sunshine.  Cumulus clouds began to develop by mid-morning and grew rapidly, allowing for numerous showers to develop by noon.  The showers have mostly avoided Blue Hill so far, with only 0.02 inches of rain recorded in a late morning shower.  Winds have been light and variable for most of the day, with an average speed of only 5-7mph since 7AM this morning.  Visibility has been limited to 25 miles or less because of haze, and has occasionally been lower in certain directions as showers move through and reduce visibility.   June 2013 remains the fourth wettest on record so far at Blue Hill. Some unsettled weather is expected for the final few days of the month, which may move this month higher on the list.   Blue Hill Wettest Junes, inches (1886-2013) 1) 17.32 in 1998 2) 13.73 in 1982 3) 12.31 in 2006 4) 11.21 in 2013 (through 13E 6/26) 5) 10.78 in 1922   Today's Observations:   7 A.M.
