DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 2012
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME

MOSTLY SUNNY AND BREEZY;
TEMPERATURES RETURNING CLOSE TO NORMAL

A layer of stratocumulus clouds present to our east early this morning
quickly moved offshore by mid morning, giving way to mostly sunny skies.
Only a few cirrus and altocumulus have been observed late this morning
and this afternoon.

A brisk NW wind is gusting at times to 25-30 mph. The NW wind has been
brining in a drier air mass today, with the dew point temperature falling
into the mid 20s this afternoon.

Temperatures are noticeably warmer since yesterday, but still running a
couple of degrees below normal. Today will likely mark the 7th
consecutive day of below normal temperatures. The month of November is
now running more than 5 degrees below normal!
