Late yesterday afternoon gusty south winds reached peak speeds of 40 to 48 MPH between 4 and 5 P.M. EDT. Showers which started early yesterday and brought 0.07 inch by early afternoon resumed in the late and evening into this morning with an additional 0.16 inch measured this morning at 8 A.M. EDT. More showers and periods of light left another tenth of an inch by late this morning.
