BLUE HILL METEOROLOGICAL OBSERVATORY MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA   DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY WEDNESDAY, JULY 11, 2012  ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME   ANOTHER PLEASANT, SUNNY, SUMMER DAY TEMPERATURES NEAR NORMAL TO SLIGHTLY ABOVE NORMAL WITH LOW HUMIDITY   We need rain because the last important rainfall was back on June 25 with 1.38 inches, and only 0.42 inch has been recorded since then or over a period of more than two weeks.   Yesterday's pleasant conditions have continued into today.  Temperatures are once again quite close to normal.  Tuesday's high high of 83F and low of 61F averaged out right on the normal just like Monday.  So, we’re still not dropping cooler than normal. The warmer than  average temperatures have continued (except normal past two days) with the last below normal day at -3 degrees on June 27. A streak of 11 consecutive days above normal days ended on July 8.    Dew point temperatures continue to run in the 50's, except in the low 60's early this morning, providing a very comfortable feel to the air. A distant haze is reducing visibility to 25 to the east and southeast while we can view up to 55 miles to the northwest and gradually decreasing.    The sky has remained mostly sunny with only high clouds which are thin to partly thin allowing for plenty of sunshine.   Today's observations:   7 A.M.
