Total melted precipitation was 0.17 inch.    This morning's snowfall brings the monthly and winter season (December-January) to a scant 0.7 inch.    Light rain turned to a driving moderate to heavy rain by early this afternoon with a total of 1.02 inches from 4 A.M. to 1 P.M.
