BLUE HILL METEOROLOGICAL OBSERVATORY MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA   DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 30, 2011 ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME   TWO NEW TEMPERATURES RECORDS SET NOVEMBER 29....   The maximum temperature of 66F (65.5) occurring at 12:40 P.M. establishes a new record high maximum for the date; the previous record was 64F in 1963 and more recently in 1990. The minimum temperature of 52F occurring at 5:03 A.M. establishes a new record high minimum; the previous record was 49F in 1957 and 2005.    In addition, on November 28, we set a new record high minimum temperature of 51F; the previous record was 50F in 1990.      INCREDIBLE, RECORD WARMTH CONTINUES; NOVEMBER 2011 ABOUT TO FINISH WARMEST ON RECORD  DOWNPOURS EARLY THIS BRING HALF INCH RAIN ONE HOUR TOTAL OF ONE INCH OF RAINFALL IN UNDER 5 HOURS SSE-S WINDS GUST TO NEAR 50 MPH 1 to 2 A.M.   Late November has been incredibly  warm which included four consecutive days where high temperatures reached the 60's on 5 out of the last 6 days of the month. The maximum of of 66F yesterday was warmest maximum of the past 5-60-degree days and set a new record for November 29.      Yesterday's average temperature was an incredible 22 degrees above normal!  Monday was 21 degrees above normal so we will have tallied up 14 days with daily double-digit above normal departures assuming today continues with a double-digit departure.
