OF SEPTEMBER INCLUDES 91% OF POSSIBLE
BRIGHT SUNSHINE AND NOT A DROP OF RAIN
 
Some dense cirrus clouds shut out the bright
sunshine for a portion of this morning, but the
cloudiness has thinned out allowing bright
sunshine early this afternoon.  The first week
of September has been extremely sunny with
91% of the possible bright sunshine. One
day had 100% and four other days have had
over 90%.  The very dry weather pattern con-
tinues with not a drop of rain so far this
month.  This comes after 1.80 inches fell on
August 28-29.

temperature inversion present
