DAILY RAINFALL RECORD FOR NOVEMBER 14TH
PEAK WIND GUSTS REACHED NEAR 40 MPH

The mid-November nor'easter which began
with overcast, windy but dry conditions
on November 13th, became soaking wet and
continued windy early on the 14th. The
record daily rainfall total for the day,
the calendar date of November 14th, of

exact amount has yet to be calculated
but it will be around 2.08 inches. The
rain came down heaviest during the three
hours ending at 10 a.m. A total of 0.90
inch fell during that period. Rain changed
to mostly drizzle later in the day. The
storm total through 7 a.m. today is 2.13 ins.
after some more light drizzle and light
rain shower during the early hours.

Peak wind gusts reached 39 MPH from the
NNE on November 13 and 39 MPH from the NE
early on November 14 before veering to the
east and diminishing during the afternoon.
Temperatures rose through the 50's to a
maximum of 59F just before 7 p.m.; that was
unusually mild for a November noreaster.
